Kate Beacon

I cannot begin to say how much I care for the (justifiably popular!) webcomic, Hark! A Vagrant.

Kate Beacon is wonderfully clever. Below – her latest.

Hark, a vagrant: 328.

  1. At first I was thinking, “Why is Batman on his knees?” then remembered the dimensions of an Amazon. That’s something nearly every artist that has drawn her has omitted. The only time I can remember seeing her towering over Supes and the rest of the League was in Darwyn Cooke’s “New Frontier”. Every other iteration is the size 0 model that looks up to every man on the team.

If Kate Beacon wrote/illustrated a history book, I would push for it to be used in every American school. It would contain more facts than most of Texas history books.
