Sick of it yet?

Here’s a list from ASCAP tallying the top ten most popular Christmas songs, their composers, popular version, and play count. All of this is from October 1st until the beginning of last week.

I’m sharing it because I was impressed by a few details buried within. For instance, the most popular version of Winter Wonderland is performed by Eurythmics. What the hell? Then I youtubed it and, yeah, that’s them.

Also, Andy Williams has the best voice of all time. It’s impressive to watch him. I’m not a big fan of most of what he sings, but that’s a whole separate issue.

The top 10 most-played holiday songs so far this holiday season are listed below, all written or co-written by ASCAP songwriters and composers. Each song includes songwriter credits, and cites the most popular artist version played on radio to date.
