Writing with Cats

Written? Kitten! is a webpage where, after entering a preset number of words, the writer is shown a picture of a kitten. This encourages them to continue writing, in  search of the a microburst of endorphins. This combines the best thing the internet has (pictures of cats) with recent science to create a wonderfully compelling way to write.

It also automatically saves your entered text in most browsers.

Is it something I will use long term? I don’t know. But for what it’s worth, this post was written on Written? Kitten! and is about 90 words longer than it would otherwise have been. Oh! A cat!
